A Message From Our Owners
When we bought Handsome Dan's in 2020, we understood that owners were trusting us with much more than a vacation rental. For many, it's a place they've invested in, a place their own family enjoys, and a property they want to see cared for while also generating a return.
That's something we've never lost sight of as Handsome Dan's has grown.
Our goal is to give owners the benefits of vacation rental ownership without having to take on another full-time job. That means working to generate strong bookings, providing guests with a professional experience from reservation through checkout, and making sure there are people and systems in place to look after the day-to-day details.
We've continued to invest in our team, technology, marketing, direct-booking network and local service partnerships so that we can provide the kind of vacation rental operation we'd want supporting our own property.
And while we're growing, we're proud to still be a small, Canadian-owned and operated company. We believe that gives us the best of both worlds: the technology, marketing reach and professional systems of a larger vacation rental operation, with the personal attention, flexibility and accountability of an independent Canadian business.
